This is a story about Riku, a godling, and Lucifer, who are fated to be mates, a pairing that is both surprising and potentially world-ending. Riku, who had long ago given up on finding a mate, is shocked when he finally feels the pull of a fated connection and discovers his other half is none other than Lucifer. Lucifer is pleased with the match, finding Riku to be exactly his type. However, he is heartbroken that Riku doesn't want him. He knows that their union is against the rules of his estranged sister and could lead to global destruction.
I loved this story with its conflict between the desires of two fated mates and the dangerous consequences of their union.There were plenty of tender moments but also heartbreak, danger and drama. It was very cruel to set them up as fated mates even if they did end up together in the end. I loved the way that so many others were also involved.Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
