My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This is a story about Gunter Zuniga, a recently divorced and retired man, and Clay Henderson, a local sawmill owner, who find an unexpected romance during the Christmas season. Gunter moves to the small town of Hartbridge, Montana, to start over after a year of tragedy. He buys an old house, believing he can fix it up himself. Clay meets Gunter while delivering firewood and becomes intrigued by the newcomer. Although neither man is looking for a relationship, the holiday season and the "magic" of their small town bring them together.
This was a sweet story that will fill you up with the Christmas spirit. For both men it was finding love and healing when least expected. I loved Clay's father who used some great analogies. The involvement of the other characters from previous books in the series added more fun to the story. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
