My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This is a story about Samuel and his straight best friend, Will, who agree to pretend to be boyfriends for Samuel's ex's wedding. Samuel's only goal was to avoid attending the wedding alone, but Will proposes the idea of acting as a couple to make the ex jealous. The plan becomes complicated because the ex knows Will isn't gay, so Will insists they must convincingly sell the charade by "whatever means necessary." As they practice their roles, Samuel begins to worry. He's falling for Will and fears that the charade will lead him to lose both his dignity and his best friend. The story sets up a classic fake-boyfriend scenario complicated by real, developing feelings.
I loved this story with the two men who drawn together which needed Will to work through his attraction to Samuel and accept that he was bisexual. I enjoyed the angst but it did become a bit too much. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
