This is a story about Blake Acosta and Luke Dougherty, two former boy band members whose friendship and hidden feelings are tested after their group disbands. Two years after the boy band Atrous breaks up, Blake is coasting through life until his best friend Luke has a meltdown. Blake takes Luke on a trip to help him, but Luke abruptly ends their friendship, leaving Blake to hit rock bottom and confront some painful truths on his own. Meanwhile, Luke distances himself because he's in love with Blake and believes he can't have him. The story follows their journey to unpack their past—including their time in Atrous—to see if they can finally move forward and build a new future together.
I loved this story with all of the big emotions and feelings as both men assessed their relationship and feelings for each other. It involved Blake having to face the past and present and understand his true feelings for Luke. I felt as overwhelmed by the feelings as them both and so expect some tears. This was an MM story with mature content.
