All Bad Things

All Bad Things by Megs Pritchard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rush Scott relocates to Salutem with his twin daughters, unknowingly stepping into a world of supernatural tension. His mate, Raydon—a demon—works there, but Rush struggles to accept both the bond and Raydon’s otherworldly nature. The concept of realms versus planets only deepens his confusion and resistance. Raydon waits patiently, understanding the fear and stigma surrounding demons. He knows Rush needs time, especially with his daughters’ safety weighing heavily on his decisions. With threats looming—from enemies, hybrids, and military forces—Raydon must protect Rush and his family. But the deeper question remains: can Rush overcome his fear and accept the mate fate chose for him?

I enjoyed this story with trust and transformation forming the emotional spine of the story. Rush’s story isn’t just about surviving — it’s about choosing to live fully, to love bravely, and to redefine what family means in a world that defies logic. His hesitation is about weighing whether Raydon is a threat or a guardian to his children. Trust here is layered: emotional, instinctual, and protective. I loved the way that this story ended although I was very curious about what happens next. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
