Spencer Cohen, Book One

Spencer Cohen, Book One by N.R. Walker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a story about Spencer Cohen, a professional who is hired to play the role of a client's new lover to provoke a reaction from their ex, and his client, Andrew Landon. Spencer's job is a calculated business transaction: he acts as a temporary boyfriend to force the ex to either beg for his client back or walk away, providing definitive closure. Andrew's sister hires Spencer to help Andrew get his ex back, a plan Andrew is reluctantly part of. Spencer operates strictly on a "no emotions, no strings" basis. However, in this instance, their purely business arrangement is destined to become personal and complicated.

I loved this story with the two men who were drawn together firstly with a shared aim to get Andrew's ex Eli back but then they caught feelings for each other. I loved the easy way they were with each other and their shared love of music. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
