This is a story about Lucien, a figure skater seeking a gold medal, and Boston, a firefighter and dominant, whose connection begins at an exclusive kink auction and continues dramatically into the real world. Lucien, confident in his figure skating career, attends the Dark Fantasies Club's omega auction looking for a reward. He finds the "alpha partner of his dreams," Boston, at the event. Their fantasy abruptly turns to reality when Boston later saves Lucien's life from a raging fire. Lucien is now facing a severe injury and has been abandoned by his father and the sport he loves. He needs someone on his side. Boston, meanwhile, is fighting to save his fire station. Their relationship is complicated by a lie and the immense real-world pressures they both face, forcing them to see if the powerful bond forged in a fantasy setting can become a lasting reality.
I enjoyed this story with the two men from different backgrounds and worlds meeting via a kink event before their real lives crashed together after the devastating fire. Lucien's father was a piece of work and I really wanted to hurt him several times! This was an emotional story with Lucien's struggles back to fitness and it was packed with emotions and feelings. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
