Review: The Gift of Believing by Abrianna Denae 3 of 5 stars

The Gift of Believing

The Gift of Believing by Abrianna Denae
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a story about Presley James, a young man who has always been made to feel like he is "too much" for others, and Garrett Harper, a man who is used to people leaving him due to his poor health. Presley's loud, impulsive, and scatter-brained personality crashes into Garrett's quiet life, turning it upside down. Garrett is slow to trust that Presley will truly accept his limitations. As they spend the Christmas season together, their budding feelings grow.

I loved this short holiday romance that focused on the two "broken boys" learning to trust each other and, most importantly, learning to believe in themselves. Both of their illnesses were sensitively handled and well described. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story.
