This is a story about Spencer Cohen and Andrew Landon, who are transitioning from a fake-boyfriend arrangement to a genuine relationship. They are attempting to take things slow despite intense chemistry, fearful of crashing and burning. Spencer is learning to open up about his past, realizing he is falling in love despite his fear of vulnerability. Andrew is equally afraid of commitment but finds himself falling faster the more time they spend together. Their relationship is complicated when Spencer takes on a new, unusual client. As the job turns dangerous, Spencer and Andrew must work together, forcing them to confront their fears and decide if they are ready to take the next, more serious step in their relationship.
I loved this story with the two men embarking on a relationship and trying to take things slowly even if it frustrated them. The latest case for Spencer was unusual and he had to involve Andrew who came up with an unexpected solution. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
