Jam maker Sam Martin is chubby and shy and so has never tried to get what he wants. After a humiliating rejection, he signs up for Cuffd's Destination dating event and books a ticket to a Dream Daddy Weekend in Sweet Hill California to find his perfect match. Seeing all of the slim bodies who are attending his self-doubt kicks in and and thinks it is too much for someone to want him even for the weekend even though he wants forever. Retired Daddy Axel Eriksson is not looking for anyone - after all, he thought he had found the One only to lose him and so he is sure there is nothing like true love. One look at the chubby boy with the shy eyes has him doubting his resolve. He knows Sammy is the same as the rest. He knows Sammy won't be his happily ever after. But he can't help thinking that if someone could be his forever guy Sammy would be a perfect fit.
This was a sweet story about a shy little who needs someone to look past his chubby body and see the person who would do anything for the right person. Axel tried hard to deny fate but in the end, he had to admit that Sam was perfect for him and that he needed to be his Daddy. This was easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and included a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.
