From the moment demon Roth saw Brady he knew he was his mate. As a child, he thought Roth was just an imaginary friend then Roth had to leave him as his father imprisoned him fearing he would take over from him. After being freed it becomes clear that his father picked the wrong mate to worry about - Brady is beautiful and terrifying. Brady had been a lonely child but Roth was all he could count on even if he wasn't real. I found this story had to get into as there was too little interaction between Roth and Brady that was real enough that I could relate to. I also found the interaction and involvement of Milo to be a little surreal too. Legend was just surreal. It was easy to read, I just didn't feel or enjoy it very much. This is an MM story with mature content.
