Rhys was a marine and now works at his brother's ranch raising horses but there is one catch - the ranch is also a safehouse for men the police would never protect. TJ is their first client and although he is hot he is also a mafia assassin who doesn't take no for an answer easily. Rhys has a problem because TJ is the last man on earth he wants to desire but also the only one he longs for. His self-control holds until he snaps and they have angry hate sex. However, there is a fine line between love and have and TJ is not the man Rhys thought he was he can't fight what he feels for him but the danger that sent him to the ranch is growing and he needs to make a decision - fight for him or accept that they were never meant to be?
These two men had explosive chemistry that was off the charts. In the initial phases it was all hate behind the sex but as it went on it became love and hate before it changed to love. I enjoyed the mystery as to why he was sent to the ranch and the dramas that came from that. There was some emotional stuff to work through for both men and it was nice to be able to experience that. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
