Dean is great with numbers and his friends consider him a genius who is successful and cominant. But they don't see his insecurities he keeps hidden after an accident nearly took his life leaving him scarred and in pain. He can no longer the the Daddy he once was. Then his friends become determined to find him the perfect boy. Merrick is home to stay with a restaurant to remodel, his adopted cat and a group of friends to keep him busy. Helping Dean find the confidence to date might keep his friends from examining his own love life. Then it becomes clear to Merrick - Dean doesn't need a boy - he needs a Daddy. The heart can’t be controlled, and helping Dean discover his middle side has unintended consequences. Will the two see that Merrick’s the Daddy Dean needs? Or will they lose more than their friendship along the way?
I loved this story with the two friends who know each other so well that their love was easily changed into something far deeper. I liked the way that Merrick helped Dale with his burns and massaged the tight muscles and flesh that were causing him such pain. The group of friends were so protective of each other and I loved the way that they were able to all be together in their various kinks. Easy to read, feel and understand this was definitely a story to make me smile. This is an MM story with mature content with a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic. I'm sad that this is the last book in the series as they felt like a group of my own friends too.
