Raffie Mills has loved horses his whole life, and he loves his job at the Blue Bird Ranch near River Gorge training horses. He just knows he needs to find the Daddy of his dreams but he can't imagine living elsewhere. When he wins a trip to Las Vegas for a Daddy weekend via Cuffd he jumps at the chance. Widower Gabriel Johnson never thought he would be ready to love again but when he takes a trip to Las Vegas to blow off some steam he meets a boy who makes him rethink everything about what he thought he knew about what he wants.
I loved this sweet story with the two men who had an immediate attraction. I loved the way that Gabe still sometimes talked to his dead husband and that his "advice" seemed to push him to be happy and start again. I loved the way that their relationship developed, that Gabe was determined to spoil Raffie in Vegas and that he couldn't stay away from him when they returned. I loved the way that it ended and that Raffie was mature enough to ensure that Gabe's late husband was still included in their lives via seasonal decorations. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
