Ex-marine Grant followed his gut but he defied orders and he was discharged. After a stop in a bar where he hooked up with Jacob, he is now on Paradise Ranch in Texas running it as a safe house (but not one sponsored by the government but for dangerous men). When a scared Jacob comes to him for help escaping his ex he just can't say no. Grant also can't keep his hands off him.
I enjoyed this story which was a fun read but I did find it a little weird the way Jacob escaped a dominating man by accepting help and starting a relationship with another dominating man. It was a bit instalove too. I did like the love and camaraderie between Grant and his brothers. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content
