Omega Davie is stuck in a home he never wanted after trusting a man who seemed too good to be true. In a moment of desperation, Davie decides it’s finally time to run from the Alpha holding him hostage. Alpa Ezra watches his friends find their partners and then finds his own when he stares at a pregnant and abused man on a stretcher in the ER. Fate loves to work outside of the box in Shelter Falls and Ezra is no exception. He never expected any of this, but he’s not going to complain. Not when he’s just been given the family he’s longed for in one life-altering moment.
Wow, this book is a whole load of emotions and gentleness as Ezra did everything to support his omega. I admired his strength of character after everything that Davie had gone through which can only be described as horrific. Davie was totally focused on his child to start with but was also doing his best to work on himself. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the Omegaverse with mpreg.
