When Gabriel walks into Lock and Key and sees Master Rain his stomach flutters and he knows that he needs him. Rain saw Gabe and wanted to walk away as he was so gorgeous and wanted a Daddy which is something that Rain is not and cannot become. As they get to know each other, Gabe learns to trust Rain, and Rain slowly becomes the Daddy he swore he wasn’t. Their relationship deepens, emotions become entangled and insecurities lead to rushed decisions. Can Rain let go of the past and be the Daddy Gabe needs?
I enjoyed this story with all of the conflicted emotions that Rain was experiencing and the dogged determination of Gabe. So lots of thoughts, emotions and feelings for both characters to work through. At the centre of all of this are two men getting to know each other and falling in love. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story containing mature content with a BDSM-like DDLB and D/s dynamics.
