Review: To Breathe Again by Megs Pritchard 4 of 5 stars

To Breathe Again (Salutem #5)

To Breathe Again by Megs Pritchard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Viridian Dubois had found his mate and then lost him when they were serving together in the military. Vir had no choice but to leave and remained devastated at his loss. When he finds out his mate is alive and well, Vir sets out to meet him, needing to see for himself that his mate is truly alive. Ishmael Patel had almost fallen apart with the loss of Vir, thinking he’d been left behind, unloved and unwanted. When Vir arrives unannounced, all his hopes and fears rush to the surface. Could Vir love him the way he was now, or would he walk away?

I loved this story of the loving way that Vir changed his home so that Ish could come home and live with him and the way that everyone else then made the areas of their responsibilities wheelchair accessible too. Ish's Mum was funny with her issues with Vir appearing and whisking Ish away. The time when the bad guys took Ish was suitably dramatic. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
