Finn and Cormac have secretly loved each other for years as they worked side by side, but that will soon change. Everything about Cormac, from his long blond hair to his contagious smile, has Finn wrapped up in knots. Cormac is his best friend. His biggest obsession. He’s scared to cross the line, ruining their friendship. Some of Cormac is better than nothing at all. Until one night changes everything. Making Finn smile is why Cormac gets up in the morning. Since he joined the McKinley family, Finn has been it for him. He’s the one. But Cormac isn’t the laughing guy he shows the world, and he can’t let Finn see that. He loves Finn too much to let him too close. That is until life leaves him no other choice.
I loved this story with the two men who were obsessed with each other but scared to move their love forward. I felt for Cormac and how his past had affected him so much but if anyone could cope with it that would be Finn. There were a lot of big feelings and emotions in this story and I felt all of them. If anyone deserved a happily ever after it was these men who were obsessed with each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
