Kevin knew his BFF's ex was bad news. Hank is arrogant, a sloppy drunk and a complete flirt. He didn't treat Kevin’s friend the way he deserved. Everyone else has forgiven and forgotten what happened between Hank and Kevin’s bestie but he won’t let himself fall for the older man’s sweet words or endearments. Especially after that night and then he was ghosted. Just because Hank wormed his way into Kevin’s life and friend group, doesn’t mean Kevin has to give him the time of day. Too bad, Hank isn’t getting that message.
This was an enemies-to-lovers story with some misunderstandings and miscommunications along the way. Thankfully Hank was determined and was prepared to do anything and everything to make Kevin happy. There were some emotions involved in this story and thankfully they got an HEA at the end. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
