Review: Two Daddies for Henry by T.L. Travis 4 of 5 stars

Two Daddies for Henry (Daddies and Littles)

Two Daddies for Henry by T.L. Travis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Henry Adam's life was lonely and mundane and his only friend was a unicorn stuffie named Merlin. He owned a bookstore called Turn the Page but at nighttime, he dreamt of having a Daddy of his own. Mitchell Blackthorn moved back home after living for years in Chicago after his mother fell and broke her hip. After another fall she was diagnosed with dementia and so he turned to his best friend Jenson for support and guidance. Jensen Pohler had been in love with his best friend Mitchell since the day they met but Mitchell didn't feel the same. Jenson had tried to fight the attraction by filling his bed with a succession of boys but they never worked out as they were not Mitchell. One lost boy, two struggling daddies and a stuffie named Merlin. Do they have what it takes to make each other whole? To become a family. Or were they wasting their time searching for something that wasn’t there.

This was a sweet story about two best friends who after one was brave enough to share their feelings realised that they both felt the same way and one lonely boy who needed a Daddy and instead got two to spoil him to make up for the past. This definitely made me smile and cheer on the success of their new relationships where they all belonged together. I loved the elderly gentleman who was in the bookshop most days. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MMM book with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

** Please note a portion of this story was included in the Dirty Daddies Pride 2023 anthology.
