Review: Walker by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Walker

Walker by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Walker had precog abilities but that didn't guarantee that he had answers. At the moment he knew that there was trouble in Finland and that it involved someone associated with Levi. A quick phone call to Terk confirms Walker’s suspicions. And he’s already on the move. Healer Ashley's life should have eased when she moved to Finland but that same wariness creeping back into her life made her feel hunted once again. A strong healer, she helped those who showed up on her doorstep, telling them that she believed the healing energy brought them to her. However, she’d long ago learned that not everyone who showed up at her house wanted the best for her and so when Walker shows up, she’s not sure what to believe, but it’s quickly all too clear that her life is in danger. Should she trust Walker? No, but she has to make a choice, and the wrong one could kill her.

This was a dramatic story where they had no idea exactly where the danger was coming from until the final confrontation when it all became clear. I liked that Walker and Ashley had a connection between them already and that helped when he was able to sense things happening to her. I did like the way Ashley came up with reasons to stay hidden and Walker came up with reasons to come out and go to Terk's castle. Easy to read, feel and understand.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
