Review: Facing West by Lucy Lennox 4 of 5 stars

Facing West (Forever Wilde, #1)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nico Salerno left his hometown fifteen years ago to give his Mum and sister a better life. But when a phone call from an attorney back home informs him that his sister passed away, leaving him custody of her newborn baby, He's shocked out of the steady life running a tattoo shop in San Francisco. He plans to go back to Hobie just long enough to sign adoption papers, giving his niece the kind of stable, loving family he could never provide. Then he meets her in the arms of Weston Wilde his sister’s best friend and the town’s handsome doctor, his plans begin to change. Weston was anti-Nico going near the baby to start with but soon realised that his rough exterior was just a shell and that beneath all the tattoos was a scared, insecure man searching for a place to belong. And pretty soon I know exactly where he belongs: in my bed and by my side. The problem is, that Nico abandoned his family once before, how does Weston know that if they become a family he won’t do it again?

I enjoyed this story with the two men with a passionate relationship and an adorable baby at the centre. I enjoyed all the emotions around their relationship as well as baby Pippa. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
