Review: Bull's Boy by Kiki Clark 5 of 5 stars

Bull's Boy

Bull's Boy by Kiki Clark
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Malcolm is fed up with his dating life, constantly overlooked for his height and perceived lack of "manliness." His financial situation is also dire, compounded by an expensive destination wedding planned by his older brother. Desperate for a break, Malcolm finds unexpected solace in his towering boss, Bull. Bull's quiet kindness and watchful eyes make Malcolm feel uniquely good, prompting Malcolm to consider a "reckless encounter" as a way to thank him. It seems this won't be a one-time event, and Bull is poised to change Malcolm's life and claim him.

I loved this story with the two men who were soon to be much more than just colleagues. Malcolm's family were awful to him and so I was thrilled that he replaced them with found family instead. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story as Malcolm accepted his newfound attraction to a man. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.

This was a great collection of Daddy stories by some of my favourite authors that makes it good value for money too! These were mostly MM stories with mature content.

Review: The Sapphire Dragon Prince by M.M. Farmer 3 of 5 stars

The Sapphire Dragon Prince

The Sapphire Dragon Prince by M.M. Farmer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

In an enchanted kingdom, Misha, a traumatized omega prince, bravely chose to stay in the magical world but is struggling to cope. Despite meeting his fated mate, Azurus, he isn't experiencing the typical omega heat. Misha longs for normalcy and happiness, believing Azurus might be his only hope. Azurus, a dragon alpha prince and warrior, is heartbroken and unprepared to help his shy mate heal from his inner demons. As a last resort, he takes Misha to his mother, Queen Gaia. She sends them on a quest to find three magical items, a journey that could either unite them or tear them apart permanently.

This was a sweet story of how the quest helped to cure them both and their relationship from the blackness and sadness that was afflicting Misha (a bit like a mental health problem). I loved that the quest brought them both together and deepen their relationship. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Baby and the Enforcer by Victoria Sue 4 of 5 stars

Baby and the Enforcer

Baby and the Enforcer by Victoria Sue
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Charles, having endured two decades of cruelty, loss, and familial abandonment, finds himself in a supposedly safe environment but feels he can't withstand any more pain. Fox Turner, despite his outward appearance of playing fast and loose, is concealing a profound betrayal from which he believes he'll never recover. The summary questions whether these two damaged individuals can find wholeness together, or if the "sins of their fathers" will prevent them from embracing the hope and love they could share.

I loved this story with the two damaged men who were still drawn together. Charles lived through so many painful things but was still strong enough to give unwavering support and love to the omega children in his care. Fox even with his damaged childhood was caring and determined to love and support Charles. Huge emotions and feelings in this story with the necessary drama thrown in too. This was an MM story with mature content.

Matthew "Red" Carter is struggling with feelings of inadequacy and despair after his mate, Bodhi, returned to his rightful place as a tiger prince. Red believes his life effectively ended when he was seventeen, feeling he can't measure up to Bodhi's burgeoning future. However, Bodhi, who was stolen as a cub and spent his life hiding, has other plans. Despite being bound by shared loss and an uncertain future, Bodhi recognizes Red as his mate. Armed with love, Bodhi is determined to fight for their relationship and teach Red a new lesson about their bond.

I loved this story with all of the angst, politics and overbearing family. I loved the focus on hearing, understanding and appreciation of feelings and viewpoints. Plenty of drama, danger and emotions in this story. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Hitting The Jackpot: Las Vegas Littles by Athena Steller
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Lake, a boy striving for bravery and making significant life changes, wants to finally claim the Daddy who already has his heart. He's moved in with Remi and is embracing his identity by wearing clothes that make him happy. A housewarming gift from Jesse sparks Lake's determination to be his bravest self and pursue a relationship. Meanwhile, wealthy Jesse, despite having everything, longs for a genuine partner. He's ready to claim Lake, the boy he's fallen for, and their initial date quickly blossoms into a real connection. However, they face challenges from interfering family members and their own self-doubts. They'll need to rely on each other and their supportive "found family" to overcome these obstacles and prevent their budding relationship from being torn apart. This

I enjoyed this story with the two men who were drawn to each other but Jesse had to wait for Lake to be brave enough to go for the man who wanted him. I loved Lake and wanted to hug him to show him that a found family was better than his blood family. Many thoughts and emotions in this story. Easy to feel and understand. Rent-A-Daddy: Novo

Rent-A-Daddy: Novo by Victoria Sue
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Matty needs to marry by his 28th birthday to inherit his parents' fortune and stop his uncle from getting it. Novo, seeking revenge on the billionaire Harold Coombes, discovers Matty is Coombes's godson and sees an opportunity. They enter into an arranged marriage contract: two million dollars for two years. Matty, a "spoiled rich kid," desires protection, while Novo, a "battle-hardened enforcer," has a score to settle. Their plan becomes complicated when they develop genuine feelings for each other, and Coombes discovers their scheme, threatening to destroy them both.

I enjoyed this story with the merging of multiple story threads around the couple. They felt real but there was little story development so areas needed more detail. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Almost Midnight

Almost Midnight by J.C. Andrijeski
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In the final chapter of the Vampire Detective Midnight series, Nick is moments from escaping to another dimension with his family when the authorities swoop in, shattering his last chance at freedom. Dragged back into servitude as a Midnight—an enslaved vampire detective for the human police—he finds himself under even tighter control. As unrest builds between vampires and humans and whispers of war grow louder, Nick investigates a double homicide that unearths dark truths and awakens memories he buried long ago. With the city on the brink and his past catching up to him, Nick must decide whether to fight for the people he loves, or lose them all over again.

I loved this series and hoped that Nick would find happiness in some place. It crackled with desperation, systemic tension, and a fierce longing for freedom.it was a great example of an intense, final stand wrapped in noir grit and personal reckoning. Everything was clear and easy to feel and empathise with. A lot of action, danger and drama.

Review: BJ's Lost Crayons by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

BJ's Lost Crayons

BJ's Lost Crayons by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

BJ clings to a deeply personal collection of retired crayons, particularly the elusive violet-blue—a symbol of his own past sense of being cherished, then forgotten. When a box containing the collection is lost during a stressful move, BJ’s quiet world is shaken. Desperate, he reaches out to the community, and when Glenn from the moving company unexpectedly replies that he’s found it, relief floods in… accompanied by a telltale spark. Gratitude and attraction blur in the final moment, hinting at a deeper connection beneath the surface of a simple recovery.

This story was soft, symbolic, and laced with a hopeful ache. It was quietly intimate and brimming with understated longing. There were a few issues. There was no discussion before they had bare sex and some of their conversations were summarised so I wondered what had been removed. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Baby and the Billionaire

Baby and the Billionaire by Victoria Sue
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Zeke Coleman, long viewed as a “human alpha” by the shifter pack, has accepted his outsider status—until he falls for Darriel, a wounded omega who’s survived years of abuse. Their connection is fierce but complicated by Zeke’s insecurities and Darriel’s reluctance to trust a human, especially for the sake of his children. When Zeke is kidnapped and tortured by a rival panther clan, their separation becomes impossible to maintain. Now facing a rising threat, Zeke must protect those he loves while guarding the truth that could destroy them all. He may not be shifter-born, but he leads with the heart of an alpha—one willing to risk everything for love.

I enjoyed this story which pulses with inner strength, emotional risk, and the defiant courage of the heart. It had all the ache and power of a romance forged in scars, plenty of emotions and feelings plus some danger. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Keres by Pepper North 3 of 5 stars

Keres

Keres by Pepper North
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Rimi, hidden away on a misty mountain, has long accepted that being a fated mate isn’t her destiny—even if she quietly yearns for the sun she’s never touched. Keres, a powerful dragon worn down by solitude and the unraveling of his own mind, believes his time is nearly up. With no mate to anchor him, he resolves to leave something behind before darkness consumes him entirely. But as ancient magic stirs and a pact among the city’s founders resurfaces, fate intervenes—because while Rimi may not believe she's destined for love, Keres may be the dragon Daddy willing to defy destiny to protect her and all of Wyvern.

I enjoyed this story but I thought that some plot items were strange. I found it hard to treat it as a Daddy/little story because she wasn't a little until she became one for him. I did enjoy the search for her and mad scientist. Easy to read and understand. This was an MF story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLG dynamic.

The Kite

The Kite by N.R. Walker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tim “Harry” Harrigan, a former elite Australian operative, has spent years dismantling threats in the shadows—until a familiar danger resurfaces, and he realizes he’s the one being hunted. Asher Garin, a mercenary with no ties and even fewer morals, becomes his unlikely ally when he learns he’s been targeted too. Forced into a partnership neither asked for, the two men must navigate betrayal, shifting loyalties, and a deadly game where survival isn’t guaranteed. Alone, they were ghosts. Together, they’ve got something to fight and die for.

I enjoyed this story with its bruised bravado meets uneasy trust themes. There was a lot of danger and drama as the two men defended themselves and then tried to find out why they were targets. Their initial prickly relationship was replaced with passion and then so much more. I loved the conclusion which was a surprise. Easy to read, feel and understand. Omega Secret

Omega Secret by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Cambry and Angell, two Omegas raised at Zilly’s Chattel Farm, have shared a secret, forbidden love since their youth. When Cambry is selected to serve as mating chattel, their bond is tested—especially when a spontaneous and unbreakable bond forms between Cambry and Niro, a gentle yet emotionally closed-off Alpha. Though Niro never expected to feel love, Cambry changes everything. Angell, mute and conditioned to believe he’s unwanted, steps back out of love—but Cambry refuses to let their connection be erased. The possibility of Niro courting both Omegas sparks a daring question: can love exist beyond the rules of their world, and what if this unconventional triad is the key to something more?

This story was a bittersweet collision of devotion, autonomy, and a quiet rebellion against a brutal system. I enjoyed reading it but found at times it became farcical which was a shame. I found it hard to believe that two people who were intelligent enough to hide their relationship were so clueless about other things. Easy to read and understand.  This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Tameron is grappling with the overwhelming effects of losing his hearing—physically taxing, yes, but the emotional isolation is far worse. He feels adrift, disconnected from everyone around him. Enter Dayton, an older and unexpectedly understanding firefighter who seems to appear in all corners of Tameron’s life… and increasingly, in his thoughts. Jade longs for a normal life, especially now that Flyn—his sunny, confident crush—is back. Though Flyn sees strength in Jade, Jade is haunted by a traumatic past: born from a twisted breeding program meant to create fey from human bloodlines, then sold into a billionaire’s paranormal harem. His only solace came from the brotherhood he found among the other captive boys. Though they were rescued, Jade’s mind still bears scars. He hears the sinister whispers of the fey, trying to manipulate him into opening a portal to Earth. His friends helped him resist—but the threat still lingers. Now, with the whispers dormant, Jade clings to a fragile hope for something real with Flyn. But the fear remains: Will love survive the truth of his past—or the return of the whispers?

Despite Diablo’s rebellious antics and abrasive attitude, Skylar sees through the chaos to a young man desperate for something deeper. And against his better judgment, Skylar is determined to give him exactly that.

I enjoyed this story with the two men who were on opposing sides but were perfect for each other. It was a part emotional slow-burn, part reluctant protector trope with tension simmering just beneath the surface. I did struggle with their relationship dynamic and the way that Diablo was which meant that I struggled to relate to him. This was an MM story with mature content.

Gargoyle Sentinel : An M/M Mpreg Monster Romance

Gargoyle Sentinel : An M/M Mpreg Monster Romance by M.M. Wilde
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This story plunges into a gripping supernatural conflict where Malachi, a Sentinel stationed at the Rocky Mountain lair, is suddenly called to Aspen by Archangel Michael. A high-level Nephilim has been kidnapped by shadow gargoyles, and the ransom demand is a powerful relic that cannot be sacrificed, even for someone of such importance. Meanwhile, Danny, a ski instructor fleeing his wealthy and disapproving family, finds himself caught in an unexpected danger after being drugged at a local bar. With betrayal from an unforeseen source threatening their unborn child, Malachi and Danny must navigate treacherous battles—not just against the rogues, but within their own ranks. As the Slayers fight to dismantle the enemy, the clock is ticking to save Malachi’s new family from destruction.

This story was packed with high-stakes action, emotional turmoil, and an intense supernatural backdrop. There were emotions, feelings, and a lot of explanation as to what was going on. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Breathe by Reese Knightly 4 of 5 stars

Breathe

Breathe by Reese Knightley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story follows the emotionally charged dynamic between Azrael and Real. Azrael is deeply in love with Real, but Real dismisses his feelings as mere hero worship. Azrael struggles to breathe both in Real’s presence and absence, consumed by his unwavering love. Meanwhile, Real, who once saved Azrael and guided him into becoming a skilled assassin, believes it's his responsibility to protect him, not to pursue a romantic relationship. His self-imposed distance is meant to keep Azrael safe, but it also leaves them both aching for something neither is willing to admit. As time passes, Azrael’s hope fades, while Real battles the tension between his protective instincts and his suppressed feelings.

I loved this story, which explored themes of love, trust, and emotional restraint. In return, it delivered a high-stakes, passionate journey between two strong-willed men. There were moments of danger and drama, during which they also experienced a range of strong feelings and emotions. This was an MM story with mature content.

Colin

Colin by Cora Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Colin is a heartfelt romance featuring a single father navigating the struggles of parenting while longing for companionship. Colin has dedicated his life to raising his son, sacrificing his own needs for love and intimacy. Exhausted from failed dates and constant rejection, he begins to wonder if being a father is all he’s meant to be. Ethan, his irritable yet undeniably attractive next-door neighbour, has a complicated past that makes commitment impossible. What starts as a petty feud slowly shifts into simmering attraction—one that Ethan fights against until he can no longer resist. As Colin and his son pull Ethan into their world, the question remains: can Ethan break past his fears and embrace the love waiting for hi

I loved this story with the whole enemies-to-lovers and humour, which made me laugh out loud at times. Colin's son was so sweet and has a future career as a trader in his capabilities.  Lots of anger, love, irritation and adoration in this story that explores what happens when unexpected love challenges everything. This story was easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: His Coveted Obsession by Courtney W. Dixon 5 of 5 stars

His Coveted Obsession

His Coveted Obsession by Courtney W. Dixon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

His Coveted Obsession is a dark romance that explores themes of possession, obsession, and desperate loyalty. Thomas Lauder, struggling with an unstable home life and raising his younger sister, finds an anchor in Easton Virgil—the intense, dominant figure who saves him from a tense encounter at the coffee shop. What begins as admiration quickly turns into full-fledged devotion. Easton, nineteen and grappling with his own emotional emptiness, thrives on Thomas's obsession, feeding off his unwavering attention. To Easton, Thomas is his possession, a necessity, an irreplaceable presence in his life. But when Thomas’s destructive father pulls them apart, Easton is prepared to do whatever it takes to get him back—even if it means tearing the world apart.

I loved this very dark and suspenseful story, which explored the blurred lines between love, obsession, and control. The story had raw intensity, flawed characters, and a love that bordered on dangerous devotion. I read this book twice because I loved it so much. Easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Lex by Cora Rose 3 of 5 stars

Lex

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This story seems to dive deep into obsession, trust, and the thrill of danger. William finds himself drawn to Lex, a chaotic and enigmatic presence who upends his world. The intensity of desire and attraction clashes with the unsettling reality that Lex is watching him—stalking, consuming, craving something beyond passion. Despite knowing Lex’s dangerous intentions toward his family, William is unable to resist the electrifying connection between them. Their relationship defies logic, built on voyeurism, madness, and a strange kind of harmony that makes sense only to them.

This was an unsettling yet fascinating exploration of trust, obsession, and the thin line between desire and danger. I tried hard to like Lex but I just couldn't warm to him. This story was very dark and I loved the ladies in the care home. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Blue Skies by Marie Sinclair 4 of 5 stars

Blue Skies

Blue Skies by Marie Sinclair
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Greg, a sex-positive asexual man living with HIV, is no stranger to rejection and misunderstanding. After yet another failed relationship, he’s not looking for love when he meets Holden—a sexy, closeted silver fox—at a West Hollywood club. Their spark is undeniable, but timing is terrible: Holden leaves for the East Coast, and Greg’s flight attendant schedule keeps him away. They exchange numbers and part ways, both assuming it’s over. Holden, nearly fifty and weary of decades spent hiding his truth, can’t stop thinking about Greg. But when Greg doesn’t reach out, Holden assumes it was a polite brush-off. Then fate intervenes—a week later, Greg is part of Holden’s flight crew. Their reunion is tense, but destiny isn’t done with them yet. As two men with complicated histories and guarded hearts collide again, they must decide whether to risk everything for a connection that defies the odds.

I loved this story of second chances, hard truths, and the courage to be seen. I loved the diversity of the characters and the positive relationship that they had. I enjoyed that it captured identity, vulnerability, and the unexpected pull of fate. A lot of feelings and emotions in this story which was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Luke by Cora Rose 4 of 5 stars

Luke

Luke by Cora Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Elliott's life was predictable and meticulously structured—until Luke van Beek crashed into it, quite literally hiding in his bushes. Luke is everything Elliott isn’t—chaotic, charming, and utterly impossible to ignore. As Luke dismantles Elliott’s carefully built walls, their connection deepens, pushing Elliott to confront the boundaries he's set around his heart. Whether he's ready or not, life after Luke will never be the same.

I loved this story with Luke bulldozing his way past all of the barriers Elliott had put up. There were a lot of emotions and feelings in this story as they through their relationship and handled some prejudice from Elliott's ex about him being transgender. I loved the way that Luke and his whole family accepted Elliott. There were many emotions and feelings in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.

Claimed By The Orc Assassin

Claimed By The Orc Assassin by Jacey Davis
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Tanner’s quiet life in Destiny takes a bizarre turn with mysterious disappearances and the arrival of Mahk, an endearingly persistent admirer. Drawn to Mahk’s innocence and odd curiosity, Tanner finds himself unexpectedly attached—until a shocking revelation changes everything. Mahk is actually an orc from another world, and he claims Tanner is his fated mate. Though the idea seems absurd, Tanner can’t shake his growing bond with the being who was once just a harmless stalker.

I enjoyed this story which was different to the previous two as this time home was not on the other side of the portal. Tanner was very accepting of all the strange events but there was no angst or real discussion of them. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Just a Little Fling by Kerry Kilpatrick
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Nico thrives on freedom, keeping relationships at arm’s length—until Levi, a Daddy who sees and embraces his bratty side. What starts as a one-night stand quickly turns into something deeper, unsettling Nico’s carefully guarded independence. As their connection grows, Nico’s fear of commitment threatens to unravel it all. Levi, drawn to the challenge, must decide whether to chase after the man who keeps running or let him go, accepting that love can't always be forced.

I enjoyed this story but struggled with Nico but his behaviour and life philosophy was not easy to read or understand. I understand what they agreed upon but found it hard to accept which then was hard to relate to. Easy to understand. This was an MM story with mature and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

August has spent the past year avoiding Emery, his reckless and frustrating stepbrother. But when they get lost together in the snowy mountains of Utah, survival forces them to lower their defences. As the tension between them shifts, August begins to see beyond Emery’s chaos to the warmth and charm beneath. What once irritated him now feels like perfection, leading him to question everything he thought he knew about him—and himself.

I loved this story with the two men who had become brothers via the marriage of their parents. Their connection was intense and impossible to ignore. Emery had a lot of PTSD from his childhood and I loved the way that August tried to help him and understand the reasons behind his sometimes strange behaviour. A lot of feelings and emotions in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Aisle Be The Groom by Sage Abbott 3 of 5 stars

Aisle Be The Groom

Aisle Be The Groom by Sage Abbott
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ozzie’s dream of a picture-perfect wedding shatters when his fiancé abandons him to plan everything alone on a Colorado ranch. Enter Gray—the groom’s father—who steps in to help, only for their unexpected closeness to ignite a forbidden attraction. As their bond deepens, Ozzie finds himself torn between the life he thought he wanted and the undeniable pull toward Gray, who makes him feel truly seen and desired. But can he walk away from his fiancé when his heart belongs to the one man he shouldn’t want?

This story was a bit chaotic at times as well as a bit annoying. I wish that there was more about Carter and if he got away with everything that he wanted and if people in the town learnt what he did. Plenty of emotions and feelings although some were a bit over the top. This was an MM story with mature content.
