Review: Destruction by Abrianna Denae by Leigh Kenzie 4 of 5 stars

Destruction

Destruction by Abrianna Denae by Leigh Kenzie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When Mafia bosses Allesandro Martelli and Cristian Amato are kidnapped, their fragile alliance is tested, forcing them to depend on one another to survive. In their absence, Roman Amato and Emilio Martelli take charge of their respective families, learning firsthand the weight and sacrifices of leadership. The two families, historically rivals, must defy their deeply ingrained mistrust and cooperate to navigate the challenges ahead. However, with trust in short supply, both the kidnapped bosses and their families face the peril of becoming their own worst enemies.

This was an action-packed and dramatic story as the two mafia families were united by a common enemy.  I loved the focus on the differences between the families and how they were merged by adopting each other's practices. A lot of feelings and emotions as each set of family members struggled to work out what was happening. This was an MM and MMM+ story with mature content.

*** Please read the trigger warnings.

*** This is an Amato Family (All's Fair Series by Abrianna Denae) and Martelli Family (Vendetta series by Leigh Kenzie) crossover. This is not a standalone story. At least one of the series, Vendetta or All’s Fair, needs to be read first to truly understand the dynamics of this story.
