Oliver "Ollie" Truman's main goal is to protect his little brother and escape their abusive father. While saving money to leave, Ollie finds a distraction in a fighter known as Hulk, who has a rough demeanour and a powerful presence. Despite Hulk's initial rejection, Ollie is drawn to him, and their interactions become increasingly intense. As Ollie discovers Hulk's protective and possessive side, along with his secrets and rage, they both navigate their dark pasts and try to find solace in each other. The question remains whether two broken souls can find their missing pieces together.
I loved this story set in the world of underground fighting and its connection to the deaths of young men. I loved the relationship between Hulk and Ollie and how their broken sides complimented each other. Lots of intense emotions and feelings. This was an MM story with mature content.
