Trevor is unexpectedly called to Africa for a mission at Bullard's compound, where he reunites with Reenie, a spirited and unconventional woman whose warnings about electrical dangers often go unheeded. Reenie is relieved and conflicted to have Trevor's support, especially as escalating, highly personal attacks force everyone at the compound to band together. Amid the chaos, Trevor and Reenie must rise to the occasion, forming a partnership that proves vital in facing the challenges ahead.
This was a story full of danger and drama as Reenie did everything she could to keep Bullard and the rest of the compound inhabitants safe. I loved how eccentric Reenie was and how good Trevor was at grounding her. Plenty of feelings and emotions which were easy to understand.
