Gray Hawthorne, a successful author enjoying fame and fleeting romances, retreats to his mountain cabin after devastating news threatens his career. Army Ranger Luke Monroe, betrayed and on the run, ends up in the same small Montana town, searching for a foster brother who isn't what he expected. A chance roadside encounter leads Luke to Gray, and the two form an unexpected friendship that deepens into something more. As one man struggles to escape his past and the other to confront his future, they must decide if their connection can bring them the peace they've both been searching for.
I loved this story with the two men who were drawn together but also struggling with their own problems. There were a lot of emotions and feelings in this story. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
