Review: Pretend You're Mine by Sloane Kennedy 3 of 5 stars

Pretend You're Mine

Pretend You're Mine by Sloane Kennedy
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Landscape architect Devon Rhodes intervenes in a heated argument between his new next-door neighbor, Sebastian DeVille, and Sebastian’s married ex. Sebastian, a former ballet dancer forced into early retirement, has moved to the suburbs of San Francisco to escape his past mistakes. The argument leads to an unexpected meeting and a memorable Valentine's date for both men. As Devon and Sebastian explore their connection, they wonder if one night of pretend romance can blossom into a lifetime of love.

This was an enjoyable novella where two men met due to their location but that led to a connection that resulted in a loving relationship. Bastian's ex was easy to dislike which became easier as the book went on. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
