Review: The Friendship Adjustment by Paulina Ian-Kane 3 of 5 stars

The Friendship Adjustment

The Friendship Adjustment by Paulina Ian-Kane
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Pete is self-described as cold and aloof is content with his detached attitude until Daniel, his opposite in every way, enters his life. Over three months, Daniel becomes a close friend he can't imagine living without. However, as feelings of jealousy and possessiveness arise, he begins to see Daniel in a romantic light. Torn between their growing desires and his belief that Daniel deserves better than a forty-three-year-old with emotional baggage, he must confront the risk to their friendship and whether it could evolve into something more.

This was a sweet story of how the two friends adjusted their relationship to something far deeper. There was a lot of passion and steamy scenes but I did feel that both men would have benefited from more character development. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
