Jackson moves to his aunt's ranch after home life becomes too risky, only to inherit the ranch when she dies. He must figure out how to run the ranch and why a mysterious stranger, Ze'ev, has moved in. Ze'ev is a dire wolf who left his pack, refusing to follow their rules. Intrigued by Jackson, Ze'ev moves into his house to learn more about him. When danger threatens Jackson, Ze'ev enlists other dire wolves to protect him, even if it means forming his own pack. As they navigate these challenges, their connection grows stronger.
I really enjoyed this story with Jackson and his horrible cousins and Ze'ev who was strong and supportive of his fated mate. I loved the drama,danger and emotions experienced by the two men. A great start to the series. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
