Three men—Ren Barretti, Declan Hale, and Jagger Varos—are brought together by circumstance and find something they didn't know they needed. Ren, a former Special Forces operative, returns home after being held captive by terrorists, but he struggles with guilt and nightmares. Declan, a police detective who has secretly loved Ren for years, steps in to help him, despite knowing there's no future for them. Jagger, a former soldier and mercenary, joins Barretti Security Group and finds himself conflicted between his loyalty to Ren's brothers and protecting Ren. Initially at odds, Declan and Jagger realize they need each other to save Ren, and their mutual distrust grows into something more. The three men discover that together, they can rebuild their lives and come to terms with who they really are, but they must navigate the challenges of the real world to stay together.
I loved this story with the two strong men were worked together to help the third man back from severe PTSD. I loved how their physical attraction turned into much more and that formed the basis for a great relationship between them. Easy to read, feel and understand. There were a lot of passion and emotions between them. This was an MMM story with mature content.
