Soren, a self-conscious "Little," has long admired Shane, the personal guard of his best friend, believing Shane is far out of his league. Shane, who works for a crime family and sees any relationship as impossible, finds himself drawn to Soren's charm, humor, and kindness. Despite the undeniable connection between them, Shane fears that their mutual attraction is doomed because of the dangerous life he leads. Both men wrestle with their feelings, knowing their potential romance could end badly.
This was a sweet story of how little Soren and Shane gave in to their feelings and started a relationship. I loved how their friends helped them with subtle and not so subtle pushes together. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
